The History Notes are an annual compilation of rules sections affected by each year’s legislative review.

The Idaho Administrative Bulletin is a monthly publication consisting of all administrative rulemaking documents, supporting documents, executive orders of the governor, and all other documents required by the APA.

All Idaho Administrative Bulletins are archived annually, dating back to 1995.
Publication Schedule
The bulletin publication schedule establishes deadlines for a rulemaking to properly go through the rulemaking process and be reviewed by the upcoming legislature for approval.

Legal notices of proposed rules, found in each bulletin, are published in Idaho newspapers.

8-Year Rule Review Schedule
Each rule chapter active on July 1, 2026, will be reviewed by the legislature between 2026 and 2034. This review will then be repeated on a similar staggered schedule every eight years.
